The Aqara Hub M2 serves as the central control hub for smart home operations. It seamlessly connects to WiFi or Ethernet networks and is compatible with Aqara Zigbee accessories, facilitating interaction and integration. With its built-in IR remote control feature, it enables the management of various IR devices like air conditioners, allowing for temperature automations and voice controls.

Key features include Zigbee 3.0 support for up to 128 devices*, ensuring compatibility with the latest Aqara gadgets based on efficient technology. Its 360° Infrared Control empowers users to command existing IR devices throughout their space via voice** or local automations. The Ethernet RJ-45 Port ensures stable, low-latency wired connections, while the built-in speaker can be utilized for alarms or doorbells through customizable automations. With USB Power support, installation becomes more flexible, with the option for battery backup.

The hub maintains compatibility with various voice assistants** and smart home ecosystems, facilitating seamless integration with the Aqara Home app for automations. It supports all four native alarm modes of Apple HomeKit.

*Up to 128 Aqara Zigbee child devices can be connected to the hub (requiring repeater devices like Smart Plug and Wall Switch (with Neutral)). **Apple Siri, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and more are supported. Note that IR control is not compatible with Apple HomeKit but can be controlled via Siri. As IR signals cannot penetrate walls, the Aqara Hub M2 can only manage appliances within the same room, with a maximum range of 10m.
